5 Summer Plans For Dogs During This Pandemic
Dear Diary,
I think this summer might be a little bit different than it’s been in the past. Things aren’t back to normal entirely, but real life feels closer each day. Even so, it’s been three months since I’ve seen my friends: I got 99 problems and the dog park is one of them.
So, since that might not be part of my summer plans, I’ve decided to create my own fun. Here is what I have on the docket for June, July, and August.
Sleep
You don’t get to look like I do without lots of beauty rest.
Chase the squirrel
My bushy-tailed nemesis has been visiting the garden on a near-daily basis. He looks at me with his beady eyes and then laughs, trying to pass it off as a
squeak. Someday, I’ll catch him. I just need to stretch first.
Guard house from the mailman
Sometimes, the mailman delivers large boxes. Those could be filled with all kinds of dangerous stuff – bombs, knives, sodium-packed potato chips (don’t worry, I’ll gladly take the latter off my human’s hands).
Go for walks
Every hour on the hour, I hope!
Sleep
Did I already say that?
Talk to you later,
Charlie
