A Dog’s Diary: Charlie’s Life After The Quarantine
Dear Diary,
Now that my mom and dad are leaving the house again, I’ve reclaimed my kingdom. When they’re gone, I’m in charge – the big cheese, the head honcho, the top dog. And, also, the only one here.
As a pack leader, I do all sorts of things. I try to pry open the refrigerator with my claws (I’m commander-in-chief but I really want to be commander-of-beef), I sleep in the bed (I’m not very good about not leaving behind evidence), I do zoomies in the living room (I wish I could wear a Fitbit).
When my owners are gone for extra-long hours, I think about throwing a party, a huge bash catered by Alpo. I’d play “Who Let the Dogs Out” on repeat and we could all share war stories about our days locked up in the pound. We’d drink punch out of the toilet and play games of pin the tail on the dalmatian.
I just have to learn how to use Evite first.
Talk to you later,
Charlie
